Sandia Ceramics originally was the dream of two craftsmen — Brent Barrett and Philip King. In the partners early years as custom craftsmen in Texas, they distinguished themselves by paying close attention to detail ... and their business began to grow.

The Sandia Method
We train every staff member in the Sandia Method - strict quality control and skilled craftsmanship. All of our eight installation crews are required to follow this method.

• We use only the best materials.
• Each job progresses under the watchful eye of skilled lead mechanics who assure Sandia care for fine details.
• We work to make our last customer our best advertisement.
• Being good isn’t good enough. Only the best work endures.

Each of our craftsmen is a specialist in handling and installing tile, marble and granite. And every project receives the benefit of a lead mechanic who has been a member of the Sandia team for a minimum of eight years. This low turnover of senior mechanics helps assure you high quality.

Sandia Scheduling
Doing a great job is essential. But doing it on time is just as important. Sandia Ceramics has a two-decade record of reliability to give you confidence.

Personal involvement is the key. As the principals, we feel it’s our responsibility to be part of the daily scheduling in each office.

The process is simple:

• Sandia supervisors update our job schedule board daily with the latest information from customer faxes, site visits, phone calls, e-mails and details from superintendent progress meetings.
• The principals and supervisors review the board daily.
• We assign our installation crews where needed.
• We balance the size of each crew to assure on-time completion.
